Memberships
We offer annual memberships for adults, youth, and children. As an annual member you can participate in regular training and instruction, receive grading and coaching support, attend our social events, and participate in our annual AGM.
Free Trial
We offer a one-time free two week pass to come and try judo.

Additional add-on classes may be available for purchase by annual pass holders. Contact us to let us know if you are interested in extra classes for purchase.
* an extra $50.00 administration fee will be added to the membership fee for new members.

We offer a 15% discount on annual memberships for seniors (60+) and post-secondary students (valid ID required):

For families who purchase three (3) annual memberships for immediate family members in a season, we offer 50% off the annual membership price for the third family member. Use the ‘3RDFAMILYMEMBER50’ discount code. Expires December 1, 2025.

Grants
KidSport and Jumpstart also provide grants to those who are eligible.
Please note that the Burnaby Judo Club does not forward grant monies it receives as an approved recipient to third parties (e.g. Judo BC or Judo Canada), except as may be directed by the granting agency.

Other important stuff to know
Mandatory Annual Judo BC Registration: All persons participating in any Burnaby Judo Club practice (except free two week trial passes) must register with Judo BC. This is an annual registration. Registering with Judo BC also registers you with Judo Canada. The Judo BC registration fee is not included in your Burnaby Judo Club membership fee or pass fee, and is your responsibility to pay. You must register with Judo BC before registering with the Burnaby Judo Club. When you register with Judo BC you will receive a Judo Canada number and card. You will need these to complete our club registration form.

Regular season: Our regular active judo season runs begins in September (after Labour day) to June 30. We take a break in mid December for the holidays. Summer programming (in July and August) may be made available, depending on demand and instructor availability. Please note that summer programming is not included as part of your regular season fee.
Passes: exclude grading and tournament coaching support. Passes are not memberships and do not create voting rights in respect of the Burnaby Judo Club.
